If you go into this movie already loving George Michael and not reading a synopsis, it will surprise you. It may even make you emotional.

Emilia Clarke (Kate/Katarina) and Michelle Yeoh (Santa) spend a lot of time toying with each other at their Yuletide shop, where every day is Christmas.

Henry Golding (Tom) is a breath of fresh air in Kate's life and helps her out of a bad cycle she's in with herself and her family after a life-changing illness.

This story merely has Christmas (and Wham!) as part of the backdrop to a much bigger story: learning about yourself and how your actions impact who you are.
